GlazeRenu

Refinishing worn and stained ceramic, porcelain, enamel and similar surfaces in bathrooms and kitchens saves money, time and aggravation, besides being a 'green' remodeling alternative to replacement. GLAZERENU, an inorganic hybrid polymer, represents an exciting technology in coatings that can provide surface -finishes that are more durable than what has been possible until now. GLAZERENU coatings retain their color and gloss far better than practically any other topcoat in the protective coating industry, including the best of breed epoxies and polyurethanes.

GLAZERENU is an extremely easy to work with two part coating that is practically free of odors and noxious fumes commonly associated with most two part epoxy and polyurethane topcoats. GLAZERENU coatings are hard, tough with excellent abrasion, chemical, solvent and stain resistance. The coatings perform just as well indoors and outdoors. When used for coating outdoor surfaces such as porch and patio tiles, GLAZERENU provides excellent protection against UV fading and deterioration. It withstands harsh weathering and fully submerged conditions. GLAZERENU is safe and easy to apply, making it also appropriate for residential use by homeowners and do-it-yourself enthusiasts.

Preparation & Application

GLAZERENU Preparation simply requires making sure that the target surface is free of oil, grease, soap scum and other debris that can result in poor adhesion or surface blemishes. GLAZERENU consists of Part-A (resin) and Part-B (catalyst). It is critical to follow the mixing ratios provided on the label to ensure optimal functionality and end results. Mix the two parts in a disposable vessel with gentle stirring until a clear and slightly straw color liquid is observed.

GLAZERENU can be applied by brush, roller or airless sprayer. All basic precautions associated with paints and painting should be followed including proper ventilation, masking o areas that will not be coated and preventing air borne debris from invading the area being coated while the coating is wet. IMPORTANT: The area being coated should be well ventilated and there should be no exposure to open f lames or sparks of any kind.

GLAZERENU has sufficient working time to allow slow and careful application and the ability to correct problems and defects along the way. Full cure requires approximately 8 hours. An overnight cure is highly recommended and over the next 48 to 72 hours GLAZERENU will achieve its optimal properties.
