But unlike professional processes which sand headlights in order to restore clarity, LensRenu does not damage the outer layer of the polycarbonate, or Lexan plastic stopping fading and discoloration in its tracks. LensRenu is a thin, watery solution that is applied directly to the headlight using a foam applicator. LensRenu Flex Application

LensRenu is easily applied with the help of a soft foam or bristle brush. Make sure to thoroughly clean all residual rubbing/buffing compound and other contaminants, from the surface of the lens. Apply two coats of LensRenu, allowing sufficient drying time between coats.

Make sure not to load the brush up with too much LensRenu to prevent runs and streaks. Wipe off excess and run offs with a damp rag or sponge. Apply in temperatures above 65°F. Lens that are merely hazy, but not cloudy may be directly coated with LensRenu to restore their clarity.

LensRenu Additional Information

LensRenu will dry in 20 to 30 minutes at ambient temperatures of 77°+F. Optimal film properties will be achieved in 48 hours. Prevent the coating from getting on hands and clothing as the dry film is difficult to remove. There are no odors or fumes associated with LensRenu. Tools and work area can be quickly and easily rinsed with water. LensRenu is also offered in glare and heat resistant tints.
